Four Months Ago

Doug looked at the calendar today and remembered that it was four months ago today that he had his stroke. He sure has come a long way. At the beginning, I had no idea what to expect. He wasn't able to move his left leg, arm, hand, or fingers at all. It was pretty scary for all of us, the kids and myself. All I knew was to take it one day at a time, pray a lot, and trust in God. Today, the neurologist called Doug to give him the results of the MRI he had about two weeks ago. The doctor said everything in his brain was healing fine and to start taking 81 mg. of coated aspirin everyday. Doug's recovery has come a long way. Thank God for answering all the prayers that were lifted up for him.
