I am happy to report that Doug has been able to take a shower upstairs everyday since last Tuesday. This has been a big accomplishment since both of our showers are upstairs.
Before Doug could go upstairs, I would shampoo his hair under the kitchen sink with the sprayer, then the rest of his body was wiped down with liquid soap that you didn't have to rinse off. (The hospital gave us a bottle of that before we left.) Needless to say, I am happy that the sponge baths are now history.

The picture on the right is a shower chair. A lady from church is letting us use it for as long as we need it.
