Shower Time!

Today they put Doug in a wheel chair and took him away for his first shower in 2 weeks. He had been getting sponge baths before. Today he called his Mom and Dad on my cell phone. Tomorrow he will be moved to the rehabilitation center. The top thing on his list right now is to be able to sit on a toilet. He really doesn't like having to use the bed pan. I think this is a good goal to start with.
Today, a girl from the Journey Church came by with a card and a gift card to Walmart for $350.00. She said she called the Norman High School to see if there was a project they could take on with someone in need and was told about Doug. This will really come in handy when things start getting tight, but right now we are doing fine.
Right now, I'm in the process of deciding what to do with Jared's car.
Keep it? or Not Keep it? This is the question that needs to be answered.
The insurance payment was due on April 6.
Tonight Jared saw that Rusty's was hiring.
Maybe he can get a job and make the payments himself.
