Yesterday I pulled up the carpet and padding on the stairs. There were a lot of staples that we removed. Kalen helped a lot and Lacey did some too. I did so many that I got blisters. Now I can do some painting on the wooden trim board that is on the stairs. The carpet was very dusty and nasty. I will feel good when it is replaced with fresh and clean stuff.
