Kalen has his Driving Permit

Kalen turned 15 1/2 on September 23rd. How is that possible? This is the age that a teenager can take the computerized exam at DPS in order to get their Driving Permit. There are 20 questions. When you answer 15 of them correct, the computer shuts off. Well, Kalen passed and he is now an official licensed driver but he can only drive with someone over 21 years old. I am not looking forward to paying for another person to be on our auto insurance policy. It is really getting expensive. Eek!
