Today we were thrilled that Doug's sister, Vicki, and her husband, Steve, as well as Doug's Mom and Dad stopped in for a few hours to visit today. We all ate lunch at Golden Corral.
They all made a trip together to Corpus Christi, Texas to see his sister, Bette who had a stroke a few months ago. The report is that Bette is doing well. She still isn't able to swallow any fluids, so she gets her nutrition through a tube that goes directly into her stomach.
They were going to drive back to Missouri tonight where Vicki and Steve live. Doug's parents are thinking of moving to Missouri too. Tomorrow they are going to look at some houses and check it all out.
