Fence News

We got some fence estimates to replace our wooden fence on the north side of our back yard. I think every wooden post has rotted out at the bottom which wasn't good on a windy day. We finally made a decision to get a whole new fence with steel posts this time.
Yesterday (Tuesday) they took down our old fence and installed the steel posts and will be back in two days (Thursday) to put the fence panels up. Today it has rained A LOT. I'm hoping it doesn't affect the posts that they cemented in the ground.
Here is a picture of the old fence. Notice the rope on the wood pile holding up the fence? This is what I call "warmerdamming it". (Fixing it cheap and not caring how it looks.) The firewood is all gone now, so it will be nice to finally get the fence fixed right.
Lucy is our golden retriever. Cooper is the black chihuahua. It's been interesting having dogs without a fence to contain them. Last night they all slept in the garage. Our neighbor to the south let them stay in their backyard, but since it's raining, they are all in the house right now staying dry.
