Last night was the big game between Florida and Oklahoma for the National Championship. The Sooners had their chances early but failed to score any points on two separate first-half drives, the first reaching all the way to the 1-yard line and the second all the way to the 6. Instead of OU conceivably leading 21-7 at the half it was 7-7. It was a showdown between the quarterbacks Sam Bradford and Tim Tebow. They both are Heisman Trophy winners. Oklahoma came up short 24-14. I woke up this morning feeling a bit down, but I am sure the fans that traveled all the way to Florida are feeling a lot worse.
