Doctor's Appointment Today
Today I took Doug in for a routine doctor's appointment. When Doug had the stroke, he also had an onset of diabetes so he needs to go in every 3 to 4 months. The doctor said Doug was walking a lot better than he was back in July when he was still using his cane. Doug is experiencing pain in his left knee and hips that isn't getting any better, so he is going to get referred to an orthopedic doctor to look at the problem. Also, Doug might be getting tested for sleep apnea. I'm for doing whatever to takes to get Doug whole again. He is doing remarkably well considering the serious state he was in last spring.

Yeah, health is something we all take for granted,.....until we loose it. Hang in there...
Mary Beth I'm sure you never thought about how God was going to use you diabetes in the future. Aren't you glad you know so much about how to help Doug monitor, adjust and work with his body and insulin, especially since he won't. (Sorry Doug! Truth hurts.)
If you're diagnosed with Sleep Apnea don't hesitate in getting the machine. It's makes a huge difference in your energy levels and how well your able to function in the every day things of life.
Love and Prayers!
Renee
