Waterbed

Doug and I bought a waterbed after we our first year of marriage, which means we've been sleeping in the same bed for 26 years. When Doug came home from the hospital, it was hard for him to even sleep on a regular bed, so he slept in a recliner for the first 3 weeks.
Once Doug conquered getting up the stairs, the next step was to be able to sleep in the waterbed. It has taken about two weeks, but Doug has finally gotten used to the waterbed. It is so nice having Doug back home and sleeping where he belongs, next to me.
