This is a picture of Doug's left hand. Notice how he actually has fingernails now. The reason? He isn't able to bite them anymore. Before the stroke, he had a habit of biting his fingernails. This is one way of breaking the habit, but not the one he would have chose.
Our prayer today is this. "God, help every muscle in Doug's (left) arm, shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, and fingers to have the mobility it did before the stroke."
