Yesterday was Doug's first day for Out Patient Therapy.
PT is the abbreviations for Physical Therapy which works on Doug's leg and ability to walk.
OT is the abbreviations for Occupational Therapy with focuses on Doug's hand and arm.
We thought he would do therapy for both PT and OT, but it turns out Doug's insurance doesn't cover Out Patient OT. But we are thankful Doug will be able to do 3 days a week of PT to help him get his leg back to normal. He is really wanting to do well, so he can climb up the stairs in our house since our shower is upstairs.
Doug took about 6-8 steps today holding his quad walker in the air. His balance is getting better everyday and his leg is getting stronger as well. I am confident his walking will be back real soon. I am grateful for all of the baby steps. God has been faithful.
