Movement in Arm at Five Weeks

This past Monday, it will have been five weeks since Doug had his stroke. After Doug ate lunch, we went back to his room to visit and he showed me what he did in the morning therapy. I watched him move his left arm from the arm of the wheel chair to his chest. This was a BIG moment. Everyday there is healing and recovery going on. Today one of the physical therapist is coming to look at our house to help me prepare for Doug's homecoming. It will be nice when Doug can come home. He is looking forward to that day as am I.
