Going to Church

Going to church has always been a priority in our lives.  Doug and I were raised in the Wesleyan Church and attended every week  going to Sunday School, Morning service , Evening service and Wednesday service.  When our kids were born, we continued this practice at a small Wesleyan Church here in Norman.  We left the Wesleyan Church 15 years ago and after a year attending the First Baptist Church, we found a church we loved, Crosspointe Church.  We loved the pastor, we loved the children's and youth pastor.  We belonged and felt connected.  About 5 years ago, the youth pastor resigned, then the pastor retired, and this year, the children's pastor resigned.  Now there are new pastors and our children have moved on too and do not attend church anywhere.  We left Crosspointe in May of this year.  We attended Calvary Church this summer and went there for 8 or 9 Sundays.  Today we didn't go anywhere to church.  We slept in and no one even got up or asked about church.  I would love to find a new church to attend and belong to a body of Christ.  Lord, send someone our way to direct us to a church that we can feel connected to again.
