This is the first year we didn't actually buy "real" fireworks. We opted to go with the poppers that are safe and legal in town. They are cheaper too.
The city fireworks were cancelled tonight due to the thunderstorm that rolled in around 6:00 p.m. The fireworks are rescheduled for July 5th. We didn't let the rain stop our barbeque though. Jared took Kalen and Lacey to see a late movie "Ice Age" with his girlfriend, Becca. Jaley spent the day at a friends house and is staying overnight too. I'm ready to call it a day as soon as they get home.
