Today I want to remember my father who passed away in April, 2001. He had a blessed life here on earth for 85 years. This picture is the one and only time we went to see his grave on Memorial Day.
John Monson Rovenstine was drafted to serve in the Army during World War II. When he entered the service, he was married and had three sons; Wendell, Loren and Tim. Fortunately he was able to serve on American soil as a Medic (in training) at Camp Crowder in Missouri and the war came to an end before he was activated.
