Doug's Brown Eyes

Before Doug's stroke, he wore eye contacts everyday. The night Doug was taken to the hospital via ambulance after having a stroke, he must have thought his contacts were still in because in the emergency room he was asking to have his contacts removed. I looked in his eyes but didn't see any contacts. For some reason he thought they were still in. That was the last time he wore contacts, UNTIL yesterday. On Friday, Doug went to the eye doctor and got a new prescription for contacts. He was able to put them in just using his right hand. We are so thankful Doug has made one more step towards recovery.
