I took Sophie (our female Chihuahua) in yesterday to be spayed and picked her up today. I had mixed emotions about having it done, but I really didn't want any more puppies to deal with. I have enough on my "To Do" list.
It is a lot of fun seeing her give birth and watching the puppies develop the first few weeks, but then the hard part is finding them a home. We still have Cooper (our male Chihuahua) and he is quite the stud.
