8 Weeks

Today marks Doug's 8th week for being in the hospital. His doctor gave permission for him to have day passes for the weekend, but his Physical Therapists was not in favor of it. So, Doug did not enjoy the weekend, especially today since it was a holiday (Memorial Day). I even bought food to have a barbeque this evening but now it will have to wait until later. The plan is for him to come home on Thursday, May 29th. Doug will be home before we know it, and then the hard work of learning how to do everything at home will begin. It will be good to have Doug home with us so I won't have to make the trip to the hospital anymore.
